General terms and conditions
The following describes our general terms and conditions. These terms and conditions govern all bookings made with us via our website or by third parties. For questions, please contact our Front Desk, either by e-mail to [email protected] or by phone +46 (0)8-514 101 90 Terms of accomodation at Johannesbergs Slott When booking online, the number of persons, price, accomodation and other products and services to be provided by the hotel will be stated on the confirmation received by the guest after ordering. Upon check in, the booking confirmation must be included and presented on request. It is the guest´s responsibility to check that the booking details on this confirmation are correct. If something is not correct it is the responsibility of the guest to contact the reservation as soon as possible to make the change. This can be done by phone +46 (0)8-514 101 90 or e-mail [email protected] Changes to orders and cancellations The type of cancellation rules which apply to your booking will depend on the type of booking you have made. Always check which rules apply to your booking, as shown on the booking confirmation. Change of reservations This can be done by phone, subject to availability no later than 16.00 on the day of arrival. Guaranteed until 16:00 The hotel is obliged to offer a room to a guest until 16:00 on the arrival date. If the guest has not cancelled the booking or arrived before this time, the hotel may cancel the booking without contacting the guest. Guaranteed The reservation has been guaranteed via a travel agency, company contract or by credit card. The hotel will keep the confirmed reservation open until 07:00 on the following morning. Cancellation of guaranteed reservations must be made no later than 16:00 on the arrival date. If the guest does not show up, or if the guest cancel after 16:00, the first night of the stay will be charged. In case of cancellation, the sum paid will be refunded on the first weekend free day after the cancellation has been confirmed by the hotel. Refund is made to the same card with which the payment was made. Please note that it may take up to 5 business days for the funds to appear in your account. Payment The guest pays for the time the room is booked, although check-in is not done. The price of the stay is charged to the guest´s credit card. Check in Check in time from 15:00 until 21.00, check out time 11:00 Destruction In case of damage and destruction in the room and other rooms at Johannesbergs Slott, you are responsible as guest or the person guarantees the booking. The cost of damage is charged afterwards and an administrative order of SEK 500. We would like to remind you that the entire Hotel Carlshamn is non-smoking. If smoking in the room, a cleaning fee of 2000 SEK is charged. Liability for property The supplier (Johannesbergs Slott) has no strict resonsibility for property stored in hotel rooms or in the supplier´s premises Force majeure Strikes, lockouts, fires, explosions, wars or similar war conditions, significant restrictions on deliveries or other circumstances beyond the supplier´s control, justify the supplier (Johannesbergs Slott) canceling the contratct without the obligation to pay damages. Other If your expected arrival time is after 18:00, you must contact the hotel to secure your booking. Phone +46 (0)8-514 101 90. Wi-Fi and our delicious breakfast are included in all booking. We offer free parking. Johannesbergs Slott has the right to refuse accommodation to guests. At Johannesbergs Slott, people sleep and rest at all hours of the day. Therefore , it is important that guests think of the other guests and do not talk loudly, scream or run in the corridors. For this reason as well as for the saftey of our staff and guests , we reserve the right to refuse accomodation for you and your company. Reasons for our decision may be that your behaviour and/or physical/mental state distrubs or causes concern among the other guests or- full payment for the accomodation cannot be paid. |

For us, transparancy is important and we want to be open about how we process your personal data. In this privacy policy, we provide you with information about how we handle your personal data in connection with ordering and purchasing services from us, visiting our website, registering as a member or in other contacts with us. We process your personal data in accordance with the applicable Swedish Personal Data Act and the EU Data Protection Regulation GDPR. When you book a room with us or make reservations for others, we process the personal information we need to be able to fulfill the booking and purchase agreements. This is information that we have received from you or that you have provided to us through a third party, travel agent / agent. We process your identity, name, phone number, email address and payment information. We sometimes save your passport number.
